Tapan Dave

Principal Consultant

Tapan works with clients to improve their businesses through technology and process change. He assesses your needs, situation, and strategy to identify how changes to technology and processes can improve systems, create efficiencies, reduce overheads, support employee satisfaction, access new distribution channels and create real value for your bottom line.

Without the resources of larger businesses, small and medium size enterprises can find new technology solutions challenging or become susceptible to threats – especially as you grow. Processes can become inefficient, as can technology that is no longer ‘fit for purpose’. The best outcomes are achieved by looking at processes as well as technology, which is where Tapan excels. He manages change, advising and assisting businesses to transition from one technology to another, and embed change through people and processes, with minimal disruption.

As Chairman of the Australian Computer Society in South Australia and as an elected member of the national Management Committee of the Australian Computer Society, Tapan has an extensive network, performing policy and advocacy roles. He also mentors startups and emerging professionals. In his spare time, Tapan enjoys flying, finding many similarities in risk management, planning and piloting flights, to managing IT projects.

Tapan’s most recent client projects include:

  • Undertaking a cyber security and technology risk assessment, for a property maintenance and management company, to identify and mitigate risks, and provide practical recommendations for improving security
