Paul enjoys building long term business relationships with his clients and in particular the opportunity this provides to assist them grow their businesses and achieve their personal financial goals.
He understands that clients rely on his assistance to comply with their accounting, taxation and other legislative requirements, and value his input on issues requiring his advisory skills and experience.
Paul’s clients vary in the scale of their business and industry and he enjoys providing strategic, technical and financial advisory services to each of them. He works closely with each client to understand the different issues happening in their world, to identify opportunities for improvement, evaluate solutions and develop business outcomes unique to them.
Paul’s client projects include:
- Assistance with the establishment of a large radiology practice including transaction support, business structure recommendation and tax consulting advice. Subsequent similar input in relation to acquisition of further radiology clinics by this client
- Assistance with responding to an ATO review including providing technical advice to achieve a successful outcome
- Advice in relation to the sale of a national day surgery operator to a private equity backed consolidator, including transaction and tax advice
- Assistance to a number of clients in relation to expansion opportunities including interstate expansion
- Advice and assistance in relation to succession planning for a number of clients across a range of industries
- Strategic business planning facilitation for clients
- Advice and assistance in relation to negotiating the sale and purchase of partnership interests
- Business structuring and fund raising support in relation to property acquisition and development projects
- Assistance with bank debt facility negotiations
- Board advisory roles for clients across a range of industries
